General assessment of the domestic and international accredited observers (from: Association of citizens (AC) MOST, The Helsinki committee on human rights of the Republic of Macedonia, Coalition Citizens for Citizens, World Macedonian Congress, the OSCE and NATO Missions etc.) who were present at the voting day is that the local elections were fair, democratic and in the frame of the international standards, with exemptions of the municipalities: Suto Orizari, Kicevo, Struga, Gazi Baba, Butel, Lipkovo, Cucer Sandevo etc. irregularities of the election process were identified .

The irregularities and the violations of the election process, established by the domestic and foreign observers refer to:

Stuffing of ballot boxes , group voting, disruption of voting, voting instead of other voting, not using an invisible ink for avoiding repeated voting, family voting, disobeying of the procedure for voting prescribed (regulated) by law, violent behavior and fighting, usage of firearms for the sake of intimidation, breaking of the ballot boxes tension, unrests and intimidation in the polling stations themselves etc.
