In Chapter 16 of the Criminal Code of RM eight criminal acts against the elections and the voting are incriminated :

•  Preventing elections and voting,

•  Violation of the voting right,

•  Violation of the voter's freedom of choice,

•  Misuse of the voting right,

•  Bribery at elections and voting,

•  Violation of the confidentiality of voting,

•  Destruction of electoral documents and

•  Electoral deceit.
